Cathy is a UK based artist working from her studio in Bristol.  

She studied Fine Art at the City and Guilds of London School of Art and the Royal Academy Schools.

She has received awards such as the Florence Travelling Scholarship, The British Institute Award, The Painter Stainers Guild Bursary, The RA schools Drawing prize and The British Institute Award.

She was a finalist in the Singer Friedlander watercolour competition and the Spectator Watercolour prize. She was selected for the Arthur Young Industrial Sponsors, Christies Inaugural and the Whitworth Art Gallery.

She has exhibited at the RWS, the Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolour, RA Summer Show and the RWA 169th Open. She was recently selected for the ING Discerning Eye.

Her work is in numerous private collections both here and in America and in the public collections of St Thomas Hospital and Leicestershire County Council.
